How to import job cost with a text (.TXT) file.

Cost Centres is where Acclaim calculates employee work details. Every entry made in Job Costing must be assigned to a Cost Centre.

This report will show a list of Cost Centres and any corresponding information such as the accounts, burdens, and overhead.

This report will show job costing for each cost centre, with totals for each cost centre.

This report will show totals for the entire job costing entries for each cost centre, with totals for each cost employee.

The Standard Job Cost import layout has three line options available. They consist of “J” for Job Centers, “C” for Cost Centers, and “W” for Work Records. An import file can contain any combination of these record types.
