User Settings - Changing Your Password

The Paymate team will provide you with your credentials over email. Your password is automatically generated by our system and our team will not have access to your account. If you'd like to change your password to something that is easier for you to remember, please follow the instructions below.

New Password Requirements

  • At least one (1) uppercase letter
  • At least one (1) lowercase letter 
  • At least one (1) number 
  • At least one (1) special character 
  • Minimum of nine (9) characters 

Changing Your Password

There are two (2) ways to change the password associated to your Harmony account. This is the password that you use to log into Harmony. 

1. Using the 'Forgot Password' Option Prior to Logging In

If you forgot your password, or know that you'd like to change your password, you can do so without even logging in. 

  1. Navigate to Harmony, but do not log in.
  2. Before you enter your credentials, click the "Forgot Password?" hyperlink. 
  3. Enter the email address associated to your account (your "Username"  that you use to log into Harmony). 
  4. Click "Submit". Harmony will send you a URL to your email inbox. Please be sure to check your junk and spam folders. 
  5. In the email sent to you, click "RESET PASSWORD". This will open a new tab in your browser. 
  6. Enter the new password into "New Password". Your new password must meet the requirements listed above. 
  7. Enter the new password again into "Confirm Password". It must match exactly what you entered into "New Password"
  8. Click "Reset Password". You can now log into your Harmony account with your new password. 

2. Using the 'Request to Change Password' Button After Logging In

You can request to change your password after logging in, in the user settings section of Harmony. 

  1. Log into Harmony. 
  2. Click on your profile icon > Settings to navigate to your user settings. 
  3. Click the 'Account Settings' or 'Account Security' tab.
     
  4. Enter the required fields.
    1. "Current Password" refers to your existing Harmony password that you use to log in. 
    2. "New Password" refers to the new Harmony password that you want to change it to. Ensure that your new password meetse the requirements listed above. 
    3. "Confirm Password"  refers to, again, your new Harmony password that you want to change it to, Ensure that it is identical to the "New Password" above.
  5. Click the "Change Password" button to save your changes.
