Response time too long when creating reports

 

Pre-requisites:

  • All paycard must posted (no open pay period or paycard in process).
  • All Clarity users should have Clarity closed.
  • Only one user should proceed with process
  • This task must be performed on the server computer. You must have Clarity installed on this computer (Server computer is a computer where you install Microsoft SQL server).

Process steps

  1. Start Clarity and login into the company.
  2. Backup your data : Utilities > Backup > make note of the location and file name.
  3. Go to Utilities > Database cleanup > Place a checkmark beside of the “Reindex database” and “Empty temporary tables” > Click 'Next'.
  4. Enter the Word "CLEAN".
  5. 'Database Cleanup successfully finished' message will appear. (If you have an error message. please send screen shot at support@paymatesoftware.com)
  6. Run integrity check , Go to Utilities > Integrity check > Continue.
  7. Place a checkmark in the boxes > Process.
