How to fix invalid file / attachment type error

I am unable to upload the file / attachment that I intend to upload.

Description:

  • I am unable to upload the file that I intend to upload in any of the following sections:
  • Human Resources > Setup >
    • Documents
    • Benefits
    • Employees
    • On Boarding
    • Off Boarding
    • Training
  • supported file types PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, PPT, PPTX, TXT, RTF.

Prerequisites:

  • File Size: Use a file or an attachment that is less than 20 MB.

Solution:

  1. After logging into Harmony, go to the location where you want to upload your file or attachment.
  2. Drag and drop a valid file that is a compatible file type (Supported file types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, PPT, PPTX, TXT, RTF).
  3. Click the “Upload icon to upload the file.
  4. Click "Save" icon if any further changes have been made.
