Why am I getting a lot of pop-ups when using eDelivery with Microsoft Outlook?
By default, Microsoft Outlook is set to try to be very secure. Specifically, they often require your authorization if anything is suspicious. Therefore, when a program (such as Clarity) tries to use Outlook's settings to send out (potentially) massive amounts of email, it causes a great number of authorization pop-ups. We recommend you have your IT department/person in following the steps below.
- In Outlook, navigate to File > Options.
- Navigate to "Trust Center".
- Click "Trust Center Settings".
- Navigate to Programmatic Access.
- Select "Never warn me about suspicious activity (not recommended)". This will lower your security settings.
- Click "OK" in the Trust Center window to save your changes.
- Click "OK" again in the Outlook Options window to save your changes.
