Update Local taxes

How to update local taxes.
  1. Go to Setup > Payroll settings > Payroll categories.
  2. Select the local tax pay category.

  3. Examples of local pay categories listed above (Pennsylvania EIT municipal resident tax and Ohio City tax).
  4. Review the “Tax level:”,  “State:”, and  “Type:” selection. In the “Type:” field from the drop-down list, select the local tax type.
  5. Depending what type was selected you need to make a selection for additional information such as “County:” or “City:”, “Municipality ID:”, or/and “School district ID:”. Based on the selection of the location code will automatically populate the required fields.
