Security

The Security window is where you can view and edit the permissions of all the users of Acclaim. This will be important when processing payroll and when logging in, and can control which users have access to which areas of the program.

 

Functions:

To add a new user, click the Add button.

To Edit an existing user, highlight the user you wish to edit and click the Edit button or double click on their user name.

The window that opens when adding a new user or editing a new one will allow you to set/change the name and password. You may also restrict access to certain menus from here by checking off the Restrict Menu Access box and clicking Edit Menu Access

Note: Ensure you have clicked Save after entering all the required information.
