Create, Manage, and Track Goals for each Employee

Information about creating, managing, and tracking goals of each employee using Harmony

Goals: 

  • Goals and their progress can be created, managed, and tracked for each employee. 
  • You can identify goals as company-wide (for all employees), department-specific, or individual employee goals. 
  • Access employee goals by navigating to HR > Employee Development > Goals.

A. Creating a New Goal: 

  1. Click the "+ New" button.
  2. Enter the required fields:
    • Type: Specify if it's a company-wide goal or for a specific department. 
    • Goal Name: Provide a name for the goal. 
    • Period: Define the date range within which the goal must be completed. 
    • Description: Optionally, add more information about the goal. 
    • Progress: This may be updated automatically depending on the goal type. For company goals, it's updated by all employees as a mean average. For department goals, it's updated by all employees in the department as a mean average. 
    • Use in Performance Appraisals: Indicate if this goal will be used in performance appraisals. 
  1. Click the "Save" button to save the new goal.

B. Editing an Existing Goal: 

  1. From the list of goals, select the goal you want to edit.
  2. Modify the fields as required.
  3. Click the "Save" button to save your changes.

C. Exporting Goals: 

  1. Click the "Export" button.
  2. Select the file type you want to export.
  3. Enter a name for the export file.
  4. Click "Export" to complete the export.

D. Deleting a Goal: 

  1. From the list of goals, select the goal you want to delete.
  2. Click the "Delete" button to delete the goal.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted by clicking "Delete."

If you accidentally delete a goal, you can manually recreate it.
