Create an import interface

This instruction will help you create an import interface without any error.

Description:

  • To create an import interface without any errors, make sure you have entered a code and name that were previously not being used.

Prerequisites:

  • Log in to Harmony and navigate to Configurations > Employee List > Import.

Solution:

  1. Click on the "Start" button.
  2. Click on the "+NEW" button.
  3. In the "Code" field, enter the interface code; make sure it has not been used before.
  4. In the "Name" field, enter the interface name that was not created before.
  5. Click the "+" button and fill out the required fields one by one to the interface. 
    • "First Name"
    • "Last Name"
    • "Gender"
    • "Date of Birth" (enter a valid date format)
    • "Address"
    • "Country"
    • "Province/State"
    • "City/Town"
    • "Employee #"
    • "Employment Status"
    • "Employee Type"
    • "Start Date" (enter a valid date format)
    • "Last Hire Date" (enter a valid date format)
    • "Department"
    • "Work Location"
    •  "Work email" or "Personal email."
  6. Click on the "Save" icon button.
