I am unable to enable notifications, select email template or choose recipients for a notification
Description:
- I am unable to enable/disable notifications successfully. Selecting an email template and choosing recipients for a notification.
Prerequisites:
Solution:
- After logging into Harmony, navigate to Human Resources > Setup > Notifications.
- Click on the notification disabled toggle (Email or Web) of the notification name you wish to enable notifications.
- Select a value from the 'Email Template' dropdown nn the Notification Setup pop-up.
A. Enabling/Disabling a Notification:
- Navigate to "Setup" and select "Notifications."
- In the list of notifications, find the specific notification you want to enable or disable.
- Use the toggles next to the notification to enable or disable it.
B. Selecting an Email Template for a Notification:
Before you can assign an email template, ensure you have created an email template as per your requirements. Refer to the Harmony Company Setup User Manual for details on creating email templates.
- In the list of notifications, locate the notification for which you want to assign an email template.
- Click the "Edit" button next to the notification.
- Select the email template you'd like to associate with this notification. You can also create a new email template by clicking "Add New Template."
C. Choosing Recipients for a Notification:
- In the list of notifications, find the notification for which you want to specify recipients.
- Click the "Configuration" button.
- Choose the users or employees to whom you want to send this notification when it is triggered.
- Click the "Save" button to save your changes.
These notifications can be triggered and sent to selected users of Harmony through various channels, including email, the Harmony web interface (notification center), and the mobile app. Managing notifications allows you to tailor the communication process according to your organization's needs and workflows.
